Best day of the season!
Freshies were enjoyed on a bright Sunday at Treble Cone! With more snow on the forecast, it’s going to be an awesome last few weeks of the 2012 season.

On a stormy Saturday, I make my way out to Glendhu bay, Wanaka to support Mark Williams in his race. My day changed quickly when I accept the opportunity to race in a teams event with Garett Shore. Mark handed me my wetsuit and that’s when it hit me! I was about to race around a circuit through choppy water on a 260 horse power Kawasaki.
45 minutes of race time reaching speeds of 71mph (110kph) was one of the most unique work-outs I have ever had. Especially considering I have only really had about an hour or two experience on these things. We placed 2nd in the Teams event & 4th in the South Island!
